ATI Nookie Bars and Pinion Stem

Price: $85 for the bar and stem comboColors: Chrome bars, silver stem

Info: Nookie bars are designed for jumping, and use ATI’s “bulge technology,” meaning that thick chromoly 1-1/8″ tubing tapers to 7/8″ at the gripping area. The bars use standard-size brake levers, and have a narrow-rise design for more leg room. Since the clamping area is 1-1/8″ your stem selection is limited, but ATI has several stems with different reaches available.

Nankai Techno Front and Freecoaster Rear Hubs

Price: Freecoaster $125, Techno $50Colors: Chrome or black.

Info: Nankai’s two new 48-hole hubs feature robot welded 3mm-thick flanges, and are available in chrome or black. Both hubs are “easy maintenance,” and replacement parts are available. The freecoaster requires no modification, features a new lightweight design, and comes with a 12-tooth machined cog (11-tooth is also available). Both hubs are available in standard 3/8″ and 14mm sizes.

SNAFU Saddle
