Check out the new format, the rider list, and a grip of course photos from this year’s Nike 6.0 HB BMX Pro that’s going down this week in Huntington Beach, CA along side the US Open of Surfing.
Also, this is huge, so pay attention: Next week Ride will be the only place where you will be able to see all of the teams video parts from this contest. We will run one video per day starting Monday, ending with the winning video on Friday, August 12th.
Keep checking the 2011 Nike 6.0 HB BMX Pro page all week for our coverage of the event…

“For 2011, Nike 6.0 completely changed the format for its annual BMX Pro in Huntington Beach. This year combines street and ramps in a weeklong team event featuring live jam sessions with three-minute video parts to truly put the riders and course to the test.
Five three-man teams will compete on the course's mixed rails, ledges, and transitions, allowing the most progressive riders to shine. The teams will ride the course Monday through Friday, and the team filmer will capture the action to create the best video part possible…
Then on the finals weekend, the teams will compete in two live jam sessions. The jam sessions combined with the points they earn from their video part will determine which team takes the title BMX Pro title.” -Nike 6.0
