The Panamoka article we did from the May/June 2011 issue of Ride…

The legendary Long Island trails spot, Panamoka, has been plowed by the city. From what I gather, it was basically without warning or reason. Semantics aside, what’s done is done and I’m feeling for the locals…12 years is a long time for a set of trails, but still not enough. My condolences to the Panamoka crew on the loss of their legendary spot. New year, new spot…I hope! Here’s some words that Keith Terra posted on his insta:

"Every trail builder knows this day will come…and when that day does come it hits you like a fuckin lightning bolt. Today is the beginning of the end for our #panamoka trails. I can't be more grateful for all the great friends and memories this spot of woods have made over the past 12 years. We may be down….but in no way are we FUCKIN OUT!!!" -Keith Terra
