Amateur and Professional Cyclists race Head-to-Head at Red Bull Berm Burners

WHAT: Red Bull Berm Burners, a dirt cycling event that combines multiple disciplines of cycling on the same track, is joining forces with BikeFest 2015, 10 days of cycling celebration in Pittsburgh. Both professional and amateur riders will have the opportunity to take on the challenge, ultimately testing their core abilities on a 6' tall cyclone of whoops housed between two fast, steep berms. All off-road cyclists and classes – MTB, downhill, cross, BMX, and more – are welcome to enter and take on the challenge.

Race format will be head-to-head, with five-lap racing to qualify for the finals. The 16 riders with the fastest single-lap time in qualifying will then compete in a head-to-head tournament-style bracket to determine the Red Bull Berm Burners Champion. Racers progress through the bracket by being the first rider to complete five total laps versus their opponent.
