The LA County Fair will be hosting rounds eight and nine of the Panasonic Shockwave King of Dirt Series on September 15th-17th.Over a million people attend the LA County Fair, so these contests should be huge. Each rider will be given a pass into the fair for each day that they sign up. Pros entering both days will be given a pass (at no charge) for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Amateurs will receive a pass for Friday and Saturday. Only competitors will be allowed to bring their bikes to the Fair. Each Team Manager will be given (one each) three-day Pass that will allow them to enter the Fair.

KOD Pro Contest Saturday – $100.00 per rider – $5000 purse
KOD Pro Contest Sunday – $100.00 per rider – $5000 purse
KOD Big Air Contest– Free (You must be registered in both Saturday and Sunday’s Pro contests to compete) – $2000 and a Panasonic Mini System – Winner takes all
KOD Amateur Contest Saturday – $30 per rider – Prizes awarded to everyone in the finals
There is no billing at the event and you must be signed up before you can ride. If you owe any money for past entry fees, these must be paid before you can ride this event.
You must sign up on Friday. There will be no sign-ups on Saturday or Sunday. You must register and enter at Yellow Gate at the Fair.
