LLC Expands Global Presence, Announces New International Licensing Agreements For Airwalk® And Vision Street Wear® Brands
(ENGLEWOOD, CO) — April 10, 2006 — On the heels of an aggressive expansion year, Collective Licensing International, LLC, (Collective), owner of the Airwalk®, genetic"¢, Vision® and Vision Street Wear®, Vision Skateboards"¢, Vision Snowboards"¢, Premise"¢, Lamar® and LTD®, Dukes®, Rage®, Ultra-Wheels® and Skate Attack® brands announced today that it has entered into new international licensing agreements for its Airwalk® brand in Taiwan, and its Vision Street Wear® brand in Japan.
Hanray Industrial has renewed its highly successful licensing agreement with Collective to design and market all categories of Airwalk® branded product including footwear, outerwear, apparel, accessories and hardgoods throughout Taiwan through 2011. Launched in 1986 and celebrating its 20 year anniversary in 2006, the Airwalk® brand is recognized worldwide as one of the world’s original action sports brands and is distributed in 92 countries across the globe.
Hanray was founded in 1975, and has been a successful distributor and licensee of US brands in the Taiwan market. Brown Cherng, President of Hanray, said, “The growth of Airwalk has been very gratifying. We are pleased to continue our partnership with Airwalk and the team at Collective.
Collective has also entered a three year license agreement with Tokyo-based Runtech Inc. to design, market and sell Vision Street Wear® branded footwear throughout Japan. Vision Street Wear® has enjoyed consistent popularity in the Japanese market since the brand’s inception in 1976.
Established as a subsidiary of Daiyu in 1996, Runtech specializes in marketing footwear throughout Japan. Runtech’s Terry Kushibe said, “We are very excited at the new partnership with Collective.
