We got this from Ricardo yesterday. He’s a big reason why this comp happens every year, so if you went and checked it out and liked what you saw, make sure to give him some ups when you see him.

This is how you get things started; gap into the first set.

Check the size of the crowd; there’s never a shortage of people at this thing…

Xtremething is finally done- sadly to say- but with a great turn out. Some of the highlights were Anthony Napolean doing every frontflip combination over the first set, but with two crashes costing him a trip to the finals. Ryan Guettler got 10th place by messing up two times on a double tailwhip, but not giving up and giving a backflip 360 just for the fans on his 3rd run. In 9th place, where I had my money, went to Whitesnake. With his awesome usual riding, TJ Ellis got 8th place. And all that I have to say is keep his name on your mind because he is going somewhere with his big tricks. 7th Place went to “Flip Machine” Lance Mosley. Las Vegas legend, TJ Lavin took 6th place with his smooth riding. 5th place went to coordinator, builder, etc. (and some how I whistled my way into doing a little bit of riding) myself. Diego Canina made a point that he is not only a ramp rider, but he can ride dirt too, earning himself 4th place. Oz rider and not surprised to see him on the podium, with some huge front flips, was Luke Parslow. HB rider and prove us wrong that he is not just a hucker ,went to Michael “Hucker” Clark. With double backflips and much more. Not a surprise from the many rumors and seeing him ride with only gold in his eyes, went to 951 rider Cory “Nasty” Nastazio. With some amazing backflips superman, and lots more. I want to thanks everyone who made this event possible, to all the riders, and to all of you how checked it out. -Ricardo Laguna

Fernando Sabat throwing a tailwhip during the early rounds of qualifying…

The rest of these photos are all Ricardo Laguna, the main guy behind putting this comp together every year. When he e-mailed them over, he put a PS on that said, “I only have pics of me and one of Fernando so don’t think I just love myself and I’m trying to get the spotlight.” That cracked us up…
