Today was the first day of a lot of good things to come! Skate Asylum indoor skate only park has changed ownership and is now called AZ Grind. The new owners after talking with Tyler Coleman and Bob from Circus Rail Jams have decided to try out letting bmx riders enjoy the park as well. We were lucky enough to check it out tonight and had a blast. The current set up is a vert ramp, pool coping bowl and 4ft mini, 3 ft mini and a street coarse set up. The plan is to have Bmx sessions Tuesday and Thursday nights for 3 hours. I believe it will be 12 bucks a session. You must wear a helmet. If you are under 18 YOU MUST HAVE A PARENT PRESENT (there in person) to sign your wavier the first time. No exception to that rule. The park is located on Recker and Pecos just west of Recker in plaza with the gymnastics place in the back. I will post the date of the first bmx session. If you want to be able to ride it then go show support, respect the park, clean up your trash. Dont be the one to ruin a good thing!

Plans to further expand the park are in the works as well to accommodate larger sessions if we show them we cant pack the house! More days a week would come as well I’m sure!

Thanks to Bob from Circus for helping make this happen, Laura and everyone at Az Grind for letting us ride tonight and Drew for shooting a couple photos.
