Last Friday I posted this quick little contest on our Facebook page:
“Impromptu contest: first 5 people to email me ([email protected]) a photo of themselves showing their favorite photo in the last issue of Ride BMX (Cranmer cover) will get a copy of Props BMX Best of 2010 DVD. Make sure to include your name/mailing address. —Keith”
It didn’t take long for there to be five winners, and since it was Friday and I was in a good mood I threw in a sixth for good measure.
Here are the quick pics the winners sent showing their favorite photo in the latest issue. Thanks and congrats to everyone who sent in a photo and picked up the Props Best of 2010 DVD. Thanks also go out to Props for providing the DVDs.
Keep your camera and copies of Ride BMX close, you never know when we’ll spring another random contest on you. Keep your eyes fixed to our twitter, Facebook, and ridebmx.com…
So what was your favorite photo in the latest issue? Let us know in the comments section.
Sam Scott from Canada was the first to respond. He chose Ryan Fudger's photo of Kyle Hart as his favorite shot in the newest issue.
Winner #2: Erik Jarvi from Ohio. Erik liked this spread from the Pittsburgh article (shot by Jeff Z) and I'm guessing it was the Mark Potoczny moto whip shot he liked, but it easily could have been the Josh Pekich/train photo too. Erik plays with jet fuel, don't mess with him.
Oregon's Michael Reed picked up DVD #3 by picking Jeff Z's photo of Scotty Cranmer's no-handed inverted fastplant from his interview—definitely one of the sickest moves in the issue.
Pennsylvania's Jake Schell also liked the Kyle Hart Focus photo and was winner #4. Nice shower curtain, Jake.
Chris Przepiora from Virginia almost didn't get DVD #5, not because his last name is unpronounceable, but because he sent us a photo wearing a Dig T-shirt. He redeemed himself and got the DVD after sending a second photo with an old-ass Ride shirt on. York Uno and Mr. Takeo should be stoked that Chris is a fan of their collective effort with this Monaco, France, flatland photo.
Bonus sixth DVD winner: Cael Geier from BC, Canada. Cael picked a good one, eh? Scotty Cranmer's barspin cover shot by Jeff Z.
The booty: Props' The Best of 2010 DVDs.
