Broc Raiford Bike Check

We were supposed to link up and film some videos with Louisiana’s young shredder Broc Raiford a few months ago when he was in California, but unfortunately he got broke off and had to cut things short. Now he’s all healed up and back in action with a new Colony/Odyssey setup. Check it...

Modifications/ Other Extras:
I usually cut the flange off of my left grip for personal preference. My stem and hubs are hand polished, thanks to my Dad! I also cut a grip flange to fit between my sprocket and BB to keep my cranks from spinning.

Which Parts do you go through the most?
I go through pedals and grips the most! Sometimes I even ride on bent pedals because I’m so used to the feeling that I don’t even notice!

Describe your Bike setup and how you like your bike to feel…
I honestly love when my bike sounds like a basketball--a solid sound occurring when you lift your bike and bounce it off it’s wheels. I’ve often been told my bike feels big, but when compared to my size, the fit is just right.

What part are you most particular about or do you feel makes the biggest difference on your bike?
I’m most particular about the angle of my seat and bars. However, a creaking headset will drive me insane, as well as the clicking in my bottom bracket--both are equally annoying. And of course, the loose chain…Everyone has had it happen before, and it’s not a good time at all.
