(names listed in alphabetical order)

Number One Dirt Rider:

Chris Doyle
Doyle is as classic as they come. He’s been nominated for NORA Dirt a handful of times, took the Cup home in 2010, and he’s still going strong.

A photo of a dirt nominee shot a fellow dirt nominee... ain't that cute. Doyle over the dirt, Matt Cordova laying down in it.

Clint Reynolds
Rider, builder, traveler… Clint Reynolds lives and breathes dirt.

Not exactly in his element, but Clint Reynolds does get bonus bad-ass points because not only did he ride finals in X Games Dirt, he helped build the damn jumps too. Photo: Zielinski

 Kevin Peraza
Despite growing up in middle of the Arizona desert, where dirt jumps are almost as rare as water, Kevin Peraza is one hell of a dirt rider. He clinched the Gold in X Games Dirt this year too--not too shabby for a kid from the desert.

Leandro Moreira
If you’ve seen any footage of Leandro riding his local jumps in Brazil, you know the dude lets some serious tricks fly over monster sized jumps.

Matt Cordova
Matt Cordova oozes style and has the sickest collection of tricks--all of which he does picture perfect. It’s awesome to see him on this list.

Number One Video Part:

Nathan Williams Still United
Nathan is at the level where even his opposite and/or switch tricks are more insane than what most riders can do on their natural side. And he always finds the most OD setups to get down on, too.

Corey MartinezStill United
No doubt that every other rider on this list has been influence by this dude right here. Corey Martinez didn’t only help set the bar for video parts, he made the damn bar! To see a seasoned pro with so many amazing video parts under his belt still going this strong is remarkable.

An all street section from one of the greatest all-around riders BMX has ever known--Gary Young… need I say more?

Christian RigalStill United
When I spoke to Joe “Butcher” Kowalski (who pretty much did every progressive trick on street before anyone else, and is the realest and most raw street rider ever)…. I digress, so anyway, while talking to Butcher, the United video came up and he said, “That dude Christian Rigal eats rails!” That says it all right there… Christian Rigal’s Still United section is a glutenous buffet of rails.

When it comes to filming, the effort Christian Rigal goes through to get what he wants is inspiring. The dude cut out the fence so he could bomb this massive rail. Photo: Fudger

Alex Donnachie – Transmission / BSD

One thing is for sure, Alex has the whole video part filming thing down to a science--travel around the world and film like 40 insane and/or unique things and you’re good. Seriously though, I think Alex Donnachie is a super human and his only weakness is a peanut allergy--life is funny that way.

A giant crook just smack dab in the middle of his part... Donnachie's Transmission section is not of this world.

Number One Flatlander:
(By Scott O'Brien)

Alex Jumelin
Alex is always pushing the limits of riding with original style and tricks--all while being a full time father and husband.

Jean-William Prevost
Taking back wheel riding to a new level of artistic creation and flow--moving with style and difficulty.

Martti Kuoppa
Martti is one of the most original and decorated riders in flatland history. He reinvented himself with a whole new style of riding this past year. Difficulty and originality is his game.

Matthias Dandois
Matthias is showing everyone that BMX is BMX. He brings the street vibes to flatland and the flat vibes to street. There are no limits to his riding with power and consistency.

Viki Gomez
The rider that who is always cool under the pressure of competitions with many big wins under his belt in the past year. Using all aspects of the bike with a positive mindset toward BMX.
