Know Your Roll: Madera – Dan Kruk Party Paint Colorway

Love 'em or hate 'em, signature colorways are here to stay. Let's be honest – there are only so many handlebar angles and top tube sizes that make sense to ride, and there are far more cost-effective ways for a brand to get team riders an extra paycheck than buying a mold for a signature plastic seat post; not to mention the fact that signature colorways allow a rider to express themselves creatively, offering a glimpse into their personalities. Dude's rocking an all matte black kit? Maybe he's going through a rough patch in his life. Marijuana leaves? Perhaps one of their hobbies is gardening. I couldn't tell you the first thing about what makes Madera's Dan Kruk tick, but a quick look at his new Party Paint finish tells me that the dude likes to have a good time. Probably likes birthday cake. Me, I'm a huge ice cream cake man myself. But this isn't about me, this is about Dan, and his new colorway from Madera features a gloss black anodized finish, splattered in teal, orange and purple. Being the sister brand of Profile has its perks, such as the ability to finish your US-made aluminum products in literally any color or graphic design you can think of, and this is one of their happiest color combos yet. Here's a brief rundown of what you can bolt onto your whip to lighten the mood:

Pilot V2/Cassette Hubs – Lowkey hubshell design with a female front and both male/female rear axle options. Lightweight, lots of axle options, loud as hell Profile internals and music to the ears of riders everywhere.

Mast Top Load Stem – 6 Bolts and a block of quality machined 7075 aluminum designed to add 33mm of stack height to your front end. It's not even heavy!

Signet Guard sprocket – Protect yo teef with this 6061 aluminum sprocket with built-in guard. 28 tooth option only, but with all of the different spindle adapters you could ask for.

Helm Spline Drive Sprocket – If you're a trail guy, sprocket casing a double with a guard will actually do more damage to the landing you & your buddies spent the morning buttering up, so go rouge with the 7075 aluminum Helm sprocket in either 25t or 28t.
